Danny Daniels

Birthday: 4/7/1999

Danny James Daniels, from Welwyn Garden City, the same birthplace as Sir Nick Faldo. Grew up in Hertfordshire, 17 miles north of London. He is an only child and son to Angela Daniels and Michael Daniels. He had a great upbringing, however losing his father Michael in devastating circumstances in 2012 is a huge part of why he took up golf and has been able to use golf as his escape. He owes a lot to this game for giving him a chance to exploit his talents and provide him with life changing opportunities. In 2012, shortly after losing his dad, Team Europe in the Ryder cup did the impossible winning the miracle at Madinah. This sparked his interest in the game and began to dedicate all his time to getting the best he could at golf. His first handicap was 24 but by the age of 15 he had lowered it down to a scratch and won the under 15’s section in the McGregor Trophy (English under 16’s championship). From here he went on to break records such as the youngest player to play in the Carris trophy at age 14 and this was allowed him to be the youngest player to win the southeast England boys championship at 14 also. He progressed quickly and this ultimately was due to his desire to be the best and play for his country which Led to his debut in Ireland in the Irish boys where he came 3rd place.

Danny attended Iowa State University and the University of Texas at El Paso, while playing tournaments across the US. Danny plans to play in the Korn Ferry Q school this upcoming year.

We look forward to seeing what Danny can accomplish and wish him the best of luck in his current and upcoming season at the Korn Ferry Q-School later this year.

Support Danny!
